HEIBEI CHINA FORTUNE FC

Hebei China Fortune FC are based in Qinhuangdao, Hebei. They club play their home games in the Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium. Their current owners are real estate developers China Fortune Land Developers who completed a takeover on 27th January 2015. According to Forbes, Hebei China is the 7th most valuable club in the country with an estimated team value of 90m. They have collected an estimated 22m from revenue in 2015. Hebei finished the 2016 Chinese Super League in 7th position.

MANAGER:

Hebei China are currently managed by former Manchester City, Real Madrid and Malaga coach Manuel Pellegeini. He has been trusted by the owners to head the project aimed at taking the club to the top the Chinese game by the next decade. They have been previously managed by Uruguayan Nelson Agresta who was the club’s first foreign manager. With the change in ownership, Serbian Radomir Antic was at the helm before Pelligrini was appointed.

INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS

Hebei China has signed some of the top players in the country in their quest to become champions. They previously contracted Gervinho who once pulled on the Arsenal Red and was a star attraction in France. Currently their marquee player is Eziquiel Lavezzi. Other International players on their roster are Hernanes, Kim Ju-young, Aloisio and Stephane Mbia.

Lavezzi was highly successful in France with Paris St. Germain and Napoli and Genoa in Italy. He is currently one of the top paid players in the world.

Hernanes has been caped nearly 30 times for Brazil and has played for the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan, Lazio and Sao Paulo.

Kim Ju-Young signed for Hebei in 2017 from Shanghai SIPG. Before his career in China he played for Seoul Fc in South Korea.

Aloisio too joined Hebei from another Chinese side Shandong Luedong in July 2016 where he plundered goals at astonishing rates. He has played for Chapecoense and Sao Paulo.

Stephane Mbia played for Marseille, Sevilla and had a short spell in England with Queens Park Rangers.

RIVALRY

Due to being a relatively new club, Hebei China does not have a major rival. They play fiercely contented matches with title rivals Guangzhou Evergrande and Shanghai SIPG.

RECORD SCORER

Hebei China’s top scorer is Serbian Nenad Milijas with just 13 goals. He is closely followed by Edu with 12 though both the players are not with the club currently. Among the current players homegrown Xuesheng Dong is leading with 9 and Stephane Mbia is behind him with 7.
