Matchday six took place over this weekend in the CSL. Below is a roundup of all this weekend’s action in the CSL.

Friday’s Action

Friday’s action featured three games in the CSL. The first of these saw Shanghai Shenhua draw 2-2 with Guangzhou Evergrande. Shenhua took the lead in the 58th minute through Zhu Jianrong. Evergrande then turned the game around in two minutes. Their equaliser came in the 66th minute through Ricardo Goulart and then Nemanja Guedelj gave Evergrande the lead in the 68th minute. Four minutes later, Xu Yougang brought Shenhua back level and the game ended 2-2.

The second game saw Tianjin Quanjian draw 1-1 with Jiangsu Sainty. Quanjian took the lead just five minutes in through Wang Yongpo. Sainty then dominated the rest of the game and got a deserved equaliser with six minutes left thanks to Richmond Boakye.

The final game on Friday saw Shanghai SIPG beat Hebei China Fortune 2-0. SIPG took the lead in stoppage time in the first half from the penalty spot and Brazilian winger Hulk converted which took his tally to four goals in his first six games this season. The home side then doubled their lead with 12 minutes left through Wu Lei.

Saturday’s action

On Saturday their were a further three games in the CSL. The first saw Tianjin Teda beat Guangzhou R&F 2-1. R&F took the lead through Zhizhao in the eighth minute. Teda then turned the game around in the space of two minutes. They equalised in the 27th minute through former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel and in the 29th minute went ahead through Hui Jiakang.

This was followed by Guizhou Renhe beating Guizhou Zhicheng 2-1. Renhe took the lead in the 14th minute through Zhu Baojie. Zchicheng then equalised in stoppage time in the first half with a strike from Bubacarr Trawally. With 16 minutes left Renhe took the lead again through Jaime Ayovi.

The final game of the weekend saw Shandong Luneng beat Dalian Aerbin 2-0. The goal came courtesy of a 79 minute brace from Diego Tardelli. The Brazilian is in great form this season having scored seven goals from the opening six games.

Their were also five games in the CSL 1. The first Liaoning Whowin fall to a 2-1 defeat by Hangzhou Greentown. The second saw Shanghai Shenxin beat Meizhou Meixian Techland in a five goal thriller 3-2. The third saw Xinjiang Tianshan heavily defeated 4-1 by Nei Mongol Zhongyou. The fourth saw Shenzhen FC beat Qingdao Huanghai 2-1. The final game saw Shijiazhuang Ever Bright draw 1-1 with Heilongjiang Lava.

Sunday’s Action

Their were two games in the CSL. The first saw Changchun Yatai beat Henan Jianye 3-0. Goals from Sun Jie, Lasse Vibe and Tan Long sealed the three points.

The Second game saw Chongqing Lifan draw 3-3 with Beijing Guoan. Lifan went 2-0 in front in the first eight minutes through Fernandinho and Peng Xinli. Renato Augusto then pulled one back for Guoan. Lifan then made it 3-1 thanks to Alan Kardec. In the 29th minute Piao Cheng made it 3-2 in the 29th minute. Then former Villarreal striker Cedric Bakambu made it 3-3 and earned Guoan a point.

Their were also three games in the CSL 1. The first saw Beijing BG draw 1-1 with Wuhan Zall. The second saw Meizhou Hakka beat Dalian Transcendence 2-1. The third saw Zhejiang Yiteng draw 1-1 with Yanbian Fude . Yiteng might have felt they should have won the game due to Fude being reduced to ten men.
